I started training about 11 years ago, mainly because I was unhappy with the way I looked: my proportions and body composition (fat vs muscle), and felt heavy for my small frame. I overhauled my lifestyle, which included changing my diet and finding a Personal Trainer, and realised how game-changing it is to have someone guide you and push you beyond your comfort zone.
Teaching others has always been a passion of mine, and with the motivation of my current Personal Trainer, (who has played a major role in my transformation) I decided to take up the opportunity to help and guide others on their fitness journey. I too want to add value to others' lifestyle, help achieve body composition goals, and inspire others to make better health decisions. I am now a certified Personal Trainer and am grateful for the opportunity to work at this AMAZING place.

I began my career in sales and marketing within the IT industry, but it quickly became clear it wasn’t the right path for me. What kept me going was my lifelong connection to sport and training—rugby, cricket, gym, motocross, racing bikes—movement and discipline have always been part of who I am. With the support of a few key mentors, I realised my true passion lay in health, fitness, and helping others.
Over a decade ago, I made the decision to become a full-time personal trainer, and I’ve never looked back. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of running Trainstation Fitness Centre and being part of so many members’ journeys. Watching people grow stronger, more confident, and healthier is incredibly rewarding.
I genuinely love what I do. Training brings me joy, energy, and clarity—and it’s an honour to help others experience the same. Whether it’s achieving a fitness goal, improving health, or just feeling better in their own skin, I’m proud to play a role in that process. It’s more than a job; it’s a passion and a privilege to be part of such a meaningful journey.

Around 2011, I started running as a means of losing weight, but more so to live a more active lifestyle. The bug bit, and over the months and years that followed, running became a huge part of who I am today. I soon realised however, that I needed something more – something that would help build strength and endurance, and help keep away unnecessary niggles. I joined The Train Station as a member in 2015, and I’ve been a part of the furniture ever since.
As with most successes in life, my journey to get here has been anything but linear. In 2017 I was diagnosed with Cancer, and as was to be expected, my health and fitness levels deteriorated. Trying to keep up in group classes became somewhat overwhelming as I was never certain in what state of health I would be each given day. I decided instead, to opt for personal training sessions, as these would be specifically tailored to me, and to how much I was able to move at the time. During the absolute toughest season of my life, training with a coach (and mentor), was an absolute gamechanger. It meant that I had a commitment and an important outlet, and each day that I moved, I gained more self-belief. The belief that I could...
I went into remission in 2021 – I was given a second chance at life, and chance to change others’ lives just as movement had changed mine. I qualified in Personal Training as soon as I possibly could, and I have not looked back. I’ve also since extended my learning to teaching Pilates as well, which is an incredibly beneficial offering for everyone.
As cliché as it may sound, movement really is medicine, and being able to help clients fill their tanks and fulfil their goals, has easily become the most rewarding hours of my days.

I have always been an active person and enjoy a variety of sports. My journey commenced as a Drum Majorette (referred to as a “drummie”), where I dedicated years to refining my skills and supporting others with a similar passion through coaching. Throughout this time, I participated in 3 World Championships.
As life unfolded, I found myself drawn to a new challenge: adult gymnastics. The thrill of pushing my physical boundaries in this discipline resonated deeply with me, igniting a newfound passion. Now, serving as a coach in this exhilarating environment is an absolute honour. It’s within these walls, among dedicated members, that I find fulfilment in sharing my coaching style and supporting our members to become the best version of themselves.
